Hamson Barron Smith delivered a full package of landscape proposals for an exemplar Passivhaus residential scheme in Norwich, meeting the client’s social, financial and environmental requirements.

It is currently the largest scheme of its kind in the United Kingdom, compromising of 172 units designed to the highest levels of energy efficiency.

Working as part of a multidisciplinary design team across RIBA work stages 2-6, our proposals included the development of a robust set of environmentally sensitive landscapes including a series of linked green spaces and rain gardens to compliment SuDS strategy and enhance biodiversity.
