The brief was composed of four packages.

• The masterplan for Belle Vue Park. Modern facilities and extended play zones well connected to the town centre, designed to encourage park use.
• A retaining wall to allow Retirement Living to develop their proposals on the adjacent site.
• The new park café and toilet facilities.
• A new entrance for Belle Vue Park.

The design concept of creating a new public entrance aims to make the park more welcoming and accessible for visitors, as well as build better connections to the town centre and train station.

For the park masterplan, we contributed towards public consultation and public display to receive positive feedback. The landscape architecture team lead the design of the park entrance/ retaining wall package working with other multi-disciplinary teams to deliver a successful planning application.
