Hamson Barron Smith were appointed by the London Borough of Merton to undertake stock condition surveys on over 200 of their commercial properties.

Using our tablet-based software we inspected both the fabric and mechanical and electrical components of each building, condition rated them and assessed the future maintenance requirements of each element, thus enabling forward planning for the subsequent 15 years.

The buildings surveyed included multi-storey office blocks, recreational facilities, swimming pools and storage units. From our survey data we were able to provide maintenance plans for each of the buildings and also assist our client with budget planning for the capital resources necessary to maintain each asset.
