Planning granted for 50-home King's Lynn scheme Tuesday, 29 November, 2016

Architects at Hamson Barron Smith have won planning permission for 50 new homes on the Nar Ouse Regeneration Area (NORA) site in Kings Lynn.

The planners were unanimous in their decision, paving the way for this third and final phase of what has proved to be an extremely popular development on a former industrial site.

The scheme incorporates starter homes and flats along with two, three and four bedroom houses available for social and affordable rent as well as for private sale.

Externally the properties will be traditional in appearance to echo the local vernacular, whilst the interiors will be bright, spacious and modern with high quality finishes.

The client’s aspiration for public and private green space has been met with a layout considerably less dense than is typical in many current town centre volume housing developments. Several properties will have river views too.

The project is expected to start on site early in 2017.
