Hamson Barron Smith are pleased to confirm the completion of the refurbishment of Peterborough Town Hall North Wing to create one of the national exemplar pilot sites for the redesign and transformation of primary and community mental health care. This unique project, which Hamson Barron Smith have been involved in since inception as multi-discipline design, project management and cost consultants to Peterborough City Council, has included consultation with Cambridge and Peterborough Foundation Trust (CPFT) to facilitate a new Community Health Services Hub which provides Mental Health Services for Peterborough and the rest of the county.
Steph Stebbings, Estates Manager (North) for the Trust has confirmed:
“The building will offer improved facilities for our teams and for our service-users because outpatient appointments will take place there. To have been able to continue this project throughout the pandemic has been very challenging, but it’s great that we are now relocating our teams to their new home.”
Peter Carpenter, Peterborough City Council’s corporate director of resources, said “We are delighted with the refurbishment of the Town Hall.”
