We provided Mechanical and Electrical engineering as part of NPS Group’s multidisciplinary design and delivery of this new 2FE and 26 nursery-place primary school in Leeds.

As well as its striking design, this building provides a safe, comfortable and enjoyable environment for children, staff and visitors.

The site’s close proximity to a motorway presented significant acoustic issues, however we successfully designed a natural ventilation system using façade and roof mounted units.

A brise soleil at the rear of the school provides an architectural feature which also reduces heat gain within the building by deflecting sunlight. Built by Interserve Plc, the school achieved BREEAM ‘Very Good’ Standard.
